Relevance
 While traditional colleges require students to take many courses they may never use in any career field, much less ministry, I.C.E. students learn truths in every class that they will use for the rest of their lives.

Ministry Life Experience Credit
 Although most academic institutions are not currently awarding credit for ministry experience, I.C.E. students can receive up to 1 year of college credit for qualifying ministry experience.

Ministry Practicum Credit
 Unlike traditional colleges, I.C.E. students receive 3-credit hours per school year for faithful and diligent Christian service.

Full-Time Course
 The course will run over 3 semesters per year for 15 hours per week which meets home office requirements for overseas students.

Part-Time Course
 Students will choose 1 session out of 4 every week to attend in person. All students will be required to complete at least 9 hours of home study.

Accreditted Prior Learning
 Students who complete the Hampstead Bible College 2 year diploma course will be awarded credits towards their bachelor degree. Other courses may qualify. Check with the HBC bursar to find out  if yours does.

Hampstead Bible college offers the ICE degree course as a progression from the 2 yr diploma in biblical studies or as a separate full or part-time course.

Accreditation

International College of Excellence is an extension campus of Life Christian University which is fully accredited by the world's largest non-governmental accrediting organization, Accrediting Commission International. ACI is the accreditation authority for thousands of students in hundreds of schools in 9 countries on 5 continents, and operates in 35 states within the USA (including Washington, D.C.).

We chose this type of accreditation for the following reasons:

1)  Independent accreditation enables us to discharge the call of God on this ministry without obligatory liberal academic impositions and state or governmental direction that normally accompanies other accreditation.
 
2)  Most independent academic institutions choose governmental or regional accreditation so they can qualify for state and government funding. This also means high tuition costs for their students. Having no need for this kind of funding, I.C.E is able to pass on the savings to our students through our low-tuition programs.
 
3)  Because of the global nature of our institution, neither governmental nor state accreditation can provide the necessary authority that ACI affords us.

I.C.E is a Christian University that offers academic programs that are specifically designed to equip students who feel the call of God on their life and wish to build a ministerial career or to further their Christian education. It is not for persons intending to build secular careers.
